In some games the following steps m ight activate the game cursor.

• Try pressing your Spacebar or hitting the Alt + Tab keys at the same time

In other cases it can be caused if you have any Mouse Pointer effects enabled (Pointer trails, etc).  Follow these steps to disable any Mouse Pointer Effects.

1. Go to Start > Control Panel
2. Select "Mouse"
• NOTE:  If you do not see "Mouse" then you must select "Classic View" from the left-hand side of the Control Panel window.
3. Click the "Pointer Options" tab at the top of the Mouse Properties window
4. Remove the checkmark next to "Display Pointer Trails"
5. Click Apply and then click OK
